LOL if this were my child, the conversation would most likely have gone like this:
Teacher: Ma’am, I regret to inform you that your son was sent to detention today for disrespectfully calling me a Muggle.
Me: *smirks at son* Did you now, sweetheart?
Teacher: *raises eyebrow* You’re not honestly encouraging this?
Me: Well, I’m not saying I encourage it, but I see no point in his punishment. I do believe he was only speaking the truth.
Teacher: *appalled* Ma’am, are you telling me—
Me: Being a Muggle merely means that you are not of Wizarding descent. Now, tell me, are you capable of doing magic?
Teacher: Well, no, but—
Me: There you have it. If my son’s intention were to insult you, he would have called you a Mudblood; but seeing as he used the politically correct term used to connote non-Wizarding folk, I find reason to believe that he was merely just stating a fact.PWND!
